Upon check-in, you will be assisted by one of their courteous and friendly bellboys who by the way await with big smiles and welcome greetings as soon as you enter the hotel's reception area.
Room 645
The room was neat and perfectly lit. The TV, phone, safety box, air conditioning and fridge were working. The aura was indeed relaxing with everything smelling fresh and clean plus it is well designed with modern conveniences. I enjoyed soaking myself in their clean tub to get myself ready and in a great mood for the whole day's temple sightseeing.

The hotel is in the heart of Thailand's capital city, which makes it perfect. There is a convenient walkway connecting Asia Hotel Bangkok to the BTS Rajathewi Station which is right in front of the hotel.

Also, the Airport is about 32 kilometers away from the hotel. The most convenient and cheapest way from the Suavarnabhumi Airport to the Asia Hotel Bangkok is by Asia Airport Link Services. It takes about 32 minutes travel time.

Few blocks away from Asia Hotel are more business centers and shopping areas. You can choose to ride a motorcycle to go to Pratunam for some wholesale shopping at the public market or The Platinum Fashion Mall right across the street. Or you may choose to walk on foot but and enjoy exploring the city by looking at your map (provided by the hotel) as your guide. It is fun to be like Dora The Explorer anyway if you're into a bit more adventure and excitement... and of course if you have the luxury of time.

It was fun wandering around while walking my way back to the hotel. In case you find yourself a bit lost, do not be afraid to talk to the locals, they are nice and friendly. But as a caution, a lot of them are not fluent in English, so the more concise you are, the simpler words you tend to use, the better.
