Davao Adventure

Location: Davao del Norte, Republic of the Philippines.

Date: July 01-05, 2014.

It's our first time to travel to Davao and it kind of freaks us out because it is in Mindanao area. We both are unfamiliar with the place and a security alert has been declared by the government a week before our scheduled trip. But we already booked the flight as Alvin suggested early this year that we should go and see the beautiful Samal Island. So as early as June, we started asking friends about places to visit in Davao and we brainstormed enough as we compose our itinerary.

"Seeing the world doesn't need to cost the world."

I saw this quote somewhere online a long time ago and it has been one of my favorite travel mottoes ever since. Planning while sticking on a budget is highly important when you travel. You have to consider the places you want to go to, the costs of the things you want to do and their potential risks plus some decisions you have to make to cut down some expenses to give way to other options available.

So our Davao Adventure began. Check out the places we visited and we hope to bring out the best features of each site. Blog links for each destination feat will be published soon. ;)
